Pronator Quadratus

Pointer Plus

The Pointer Plus is an easy to use trigger point (TP) locator which incorporates a push button stimulation feature to immediately treat Trigger point pain.

 

The Pronator Quadratus is a deep muscle of the anterior forearm.

Anatomical Attachments:

  • Origin: Attaches to the distal 1/4 of the anterior ulnar.
  • Insertion: Attaches to the distal 1/4 of the anterior radius.

Action: It pronates the forearm and hand.

Synergist: Pronator Teres.

Antagonist: Supinator.

Nerve Supply: Median nerve (C6, C7).

Vascular supply: Volar interosseus of the ulnar artery.
