The individual is requested to repetitively touch their nose and either their finger or that of the practitioners, which is held approximately 18 inches away from their nose. After touching the finger, they immediately touch the tip of their nose. This should be performed two to three times continuously and with both hands.

Finger-to-Finger Test
Finger to Finger is another test for coordination, whereby the individual attempts to touch one or all fingertips to the fingertips of their opposing hand (in somewhat of a slow clapping motion). Over reaching or hypermetria infers possible cerebellar disorders, assuming that the individual does not have significant central vision loss.
